American pop star Katy Perry has officially announced the release of her studio album Witness, which is expected to hit shelves on June 9, 2017. Look y’all J-pop stans, I’m just gonna throw the shade because I don’t think there is anything to describe this package in a longer paragraph; Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s new single “Easta” is tragic. There, I said it. The newly released single, which is a celebratory number about the Easter weekend (no not some Christian pop number, a full-on effect of sugary J-pop fluff), is pure crap. Katy Perry: “Chained To The Rhythm” – Single Review

katyperry-chainedtotherhythm-1

Released: February 10, 2017

Having taken a musical hiatus for god knows how long (her last album Prism was released back in 2013), the ever-so-stylish Ms. Katy Perry gave the world a full-on taste with her comeback single “Rise”, which was used as one of the official theme songs to the Rio Olympics that was held back last year. Unfortunately, that ‘taste’ was more like bitterness; the song actually sucked, and didn’t do any favors of the new re-invented Katy Perry that the world had been waiting for.
